Neema Collective
A practical expression of long-term life and relationships in the community.
Over the years, we kept meeting people who needed more than emergency help. They needed opportunities to work, learn skills, take responsibility and build something for themselves and their families. Little by little, practical initiatives grew from the relationships around us, and eventually became Neema Collective.
Swahili Coast Mission and Neema Collective are separate organisations with different roles. SCM focuses on Gospel ministry, discipleship, churches and mission. Neema focuses on work, enterprise, skills and community development.
For us, the connection is natural. Faith should shape the whole of life, and we believe practical opportunity, responsibility and dignity matter alongside spiritual growth.
